In memory of someone special

Our darling baby boy Opie Thomas was born on 29th June 2021. He was perfect in every way. After sharing two incredibly special & joyous days with his family, he became critically ill & was transferred to the Grace Ward at Westmead Children’s Hospital Intensive care unit. Whilst receiving first class medical care, Opie fought bravely but sadly gained his angels wings on 3rd July 2021. 


The Grace Ward is truly a remarkable place, filled with remarkable people. We cannot thank the incredible staff enough for everything they did for our baby boy & the care & compassion they showed our family. 

From the moment our Opie became unwell we have been surrounded by love and support of so many. We have created this page to provide opportunity for those who wish to make a donation in Opie’s memory to support the Grace Ward to continue to provide expert care to little ones & support families with the love and care that we so gratefully received.
